NATS REACH 100-LOSS MARK. AGAIN.
09.25.09For the second consecutive season, the Washington Nationals will finish the season with at least 100 losses. The Nats hit the milestone after losing last night to the Dodgers, 7-6.
“I’m just so proud of these guys,” Riggleman said. “With exception of a ballgame or two — from the All-Star break on — we have been outstanding in terms of effort and attitude. Our fans responded to the energy on the field.
“It has the potential to be a beautiful situation because the players want it, the fans want it. I think we are getting closer. The Dodgers are going to popping champagne any day and we [are going to be right there soon].” via.
That’ll only happen if they flood their bullpen and force everyone currently sitting in there to evacuate. Because the pitching, especially the bullpen, has been the Achilles’ heel of this team since they came to DC. In their 5 years in Washington, the Nats have never had a winning record. It’s nice to see a team in the nation’s capital building a tradition of their own. And there’s still a week left in the season. Get a move on, fellas. You’re only 36 games back! also.

The good news is they’ll have a Cy Young candidate in 3 years when Strasburg develops…only to see him sign with the Yankees or Mets when his contract ends.
The Indians would like to see your futility and raise you a fire sale netting garbage, and an epic losing streak.
Fuck you, Larry Dolan. Choke on a fucking bag of dicks and die.

I feel their pain…OMG Zack Greinke…in a Yanks uniform in a few more years. :(
ZG playing in New York? HA, dude would kill himself after his first inning.
It won’t be with the Mets, unless he is a ball player that doesn’t like playing a full season, but does enjoy getting paid for it. They’re aren’t much better then the Nats. 12 games ahead. 6th worse team in the league…but, ahhh, The 26 time champ NY Yanks. Potential.
I’m hoping for a 100 loss 3-peat next season.
agreed Ep…he is “fragile”
He wasnt even pitching last night and got tossed from the game along with our skip….it was great, I thought for sure he was off his meds

He hired Scott Boras-hole, held out til the 11th hour, agreed to the largest rookie contract ever and he’s never thrown an MLB pitch…sounds like his motives are obvious.
