Every Friday we pick the winners to the weekend’s best matchups. Home teams are listed in ALL CAPS. Unless they aren’t…

Tonight. Sky vs. SUN, under 146. WNBA games don’t really deserve analysis.

REDS +1.5 over White Sox. Jose Contreras has struggled this year. Not that Bronson Arroyo hasn’t, but Cincinnati has been the almost-perfect .500 team this year. Combine that with the Reds coming off a 7-0 loss in the ATL, and it’s much better than a coin flip.

Rays -1.5 over METS. There’s so little info out there about Mets pitcher Fernando Nieve, except that he probably doesn’t belong in the major leagues and that he shaves his junk. Bald scrote is bad for business, my friends.

Dodgers at ANGELS, under 8. That’s a tough line, but this is a tough pitching matchup, with both starters’ ERAs under 4.00.

Tomorrow: David Duval over CUT LINE. Thank you, Mr. Duval, for saving us from the incessant “Phil’s wife has cancer!” storyline. The word seems to be that Duval has is game back, and he seems poised to strike.

New Zealand -11 over FRANCE. Yeah, we’re betting on rugby now.

Sunday. Brazil over Italy. But only because I hate Italy.
