I fucking hate Lleyton Hewitt, and his comments certainly don’t dispel the stereotype that Australian treat women like garbage, but I don’t think it’s anything worth getting worked up over.

One thing worth remembering is that the points in women’s tennis tend to be longer – more ball strikes and more running – so it’s kind of an apples-oranges comparison anyways.
