He’s wearing the gear because he’s a claimant in the bankruptcy filing for Stanford Financial. If he takes the gear off, it’s more likely that they can claim breach of contract, and his claim is nullified. I don’t know why his agent feels the need to editorialize, but I would assume it’s because he is a douchebag.
