David Steckel’s overtime goal pushed the Washington Capitals into a 3-3 deadlock in their Eastern Conference semifinal series with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Game 7 will be tomorrow in DC at 7 PM, and if you don’t watch this game, then I don’t think we can be friends anymore. Oh, and the Blackhawks won their series against Vancouver. I suspect Chicago fans could be the new Boston fans in 2010 if their multi-sport achievements stay on the uptick. Fortunately, the Cubs will never let that happen.

I can’t wait for game 7. I’m sure the NHL will tell the refs to call it in a way where Ovie and the Kid can have a legendary game.
The funny thing about the Hawks winning in 6 is that the Canucks could have just as easily have won in 4. They just couldn’t close the deal most nights late in the 3rd.
