04.15.09 THE NHL PLAYOFFS ARE BACK…DO YOU CARE?
The NHL playoffs start tonight, but with professional hockey still pulling astoundingly XFL-like ratings on NBC, it’s reasonable to assume that most sports fans don’t care. Or even know. And with none of the four games on TV tonight (Sorry, Versus, you don’t count as real TV), that probably won’t change anytime soon. But maybe the game’s not the issue, but rather the really crappy ads between the action. Here’s a faux PSA about that very topic. So think about that when you’ve remembered that you haven’t thought about the NHL at all.

Actually all of those games are on TV. In Canada. You see, in Canada, hockey is like baseball or basketball is in the US. Only it’s exciting and doesn’t require getting totally shitfaced to enjoy (but it doesn’t hurt).
THERE IS ONLY ONE APRIL!!!! And May. And June. Dear lord, these playoffs last forever.

You must be kidding me!?! Hockey is so much more interesting that Professional Basketball, Baseball, Football, etc.
It must have been hard for all of these Canadians to post about how great hockey is with maple syrup on their hands and caribou cum in their eyes.

Ahhh, NHL playoffs. The only time of year CBC is useful. (For all you americans, the CBC is a canadian government funded television channel…and it sucks balls).
If you live in the states but hate VS and NBC, you can always go to TSN.ca and CBC.ca and watch ALL the games online.
E.P. its not the syrup or the cum, but the mittens that make it hard to type how great hockey is.
