Those of you watching games today using the On Demand web feature are in for a mixed bag today. The application streaming the games offers a “Watch in High Quality” button. Did they do this last year? I don’t remember.

Anyway, it blows. Above is a screenshot of the stream (I’m using Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP) and it looks like it’s being projected onto a screen of burlap. Lame. This may not be representative of your viewing experiences, which you can share in the comments.

The standard quality, however, is actually pretty good, and from my vantage point, better than the HQ stream. I suppose the online video is as unpredictable as the tournament itself.
