The guy likes pirates and he isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. Tech recruits 4th (maybe 3rd)in the Big 12 South and yet they routinely get to a bowl game or beat a team they shouldn't. It's not easy to recruit to Lubbock...ever been to Lubbock? You have to carry goggles in your backpack to go from class to class just in a case a sandstorm kicks up. Mike Leach is fucking awesome. If you're Detroit, St. Louis or Cleveland and you have a shit offensive line and not matter how many steps your quarterback takes, he's going down in 3 seconds. So outside of those teams, he seems like a more than capable backup...or starter in Denver(cue Jay Cutler's mopey face). Um…he does raise a good point.
