Deadspin dug up footage from some paralympic ice hockey game titled Fugledansen, which I guess is the kind of dancin’ one does when his fugles don’t work anymore. But the fight unfolds like any other hockey fight, Canada gets a little too chippy with Team USA’s goalie, and then it’s a dosie-doe and away they go. Everyone got involved, and consequently each player served two minutes on the penalty ramp.
This was a big semifinal game–the winning team got dibs on the arena’s handicapped spaces for the finals.

Fugledansen also plays Sam on the German version of “Cheers”
Ha! They think they’re people
They should have teamed up and jumped that guy.
Oh right, the no legs thing…….
1.08 Hey cool it mister you could put a guy in a wheelchair doing that!
Do they come in over the boards during shift changes?
The sad thing is that this game did better in the ratings than Game 3 of last year’s Stanley Cup.
“Hey girls. It’s THIS way to the weight room!”
/tips over
I should point out that it was the Team USA player that sledged (sp?) into the Team Canada goalie, not the other way around.
+1 Guru
And -1 to me for laughing so damn hard.
The situation could have gotten ugly but I shot him in the spine. Hope the next place he robs has a ramp.
The tradition continues, Canada kicks the US’s ass again.
CRIPPLE FIGHT!!!
Lamest battle ever.
fugledansen might be Norwegian, which might explain why this is so funny . . . . . .
