Hooray for home playoff games in warm cities
What to watch for in this weekend’s biggest matchups. One team or another in ALL CAPS.
Road teams over HOME TEAMS — Can’t say I disagree too much with Vegas’s lines this weekend, but I’ll take Arizona as the one home team to advance to the next round. Although really, who the hell knows? God I can’t wait for these games.
TEXAS TECH over Ole Miss — This game is apparently going right now. As I write, it’s tied at 14 in the second quarter and I haven’t watched a down, so I don’t feel like I’m getting any kind of advantage making this pick.
ALABAMA over Utah — I hope the Utes can keep this one close. No one wants to see what happened to Hawaii last year.
CONTINUING TO IGNORE THE NBA AND COLLEGE HOOPS — Don’t worry, basketball fans. Your time of the year is coming. And I dread it with an icy sweat.

Utah dominated Alabama. Alabama beat Ole Miss. Ole Miss beat Florida AND Texas Tech. Texas Tech beat Texas. Texas beat Oklahoma. Oh, and Utah beat Oregon St., who beat USC.
That cares of pretty much everyone I think.
