12.10.08 STEPHEN CURRY MAY HAVE A FUTURE IN THE NBA
Stephen Curry, the NCAA’s leading scorer, had a rough night from the field but found his groove in time to lead #23 Davidson past West Virginia in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden. Curry missed 12 of his first 13 three-point attempts, but heated up over the final five minutes, scoring 13 of Davidson’s final 15 points to finish with 27 in the 68-65 win.
Hmmm, looks like that whole “dominating the NCAA tournament” thing last spring wasn’t a fluke for Curry. I guess I should probably learn where Davidson is one of these days. **Googles Davidson** Huh. North Carolina. The Wildcats. Learn something new every day.
NBA – It was apparently the best night of the NBA season so far. I may or may not have missed it entirely. Whoops.
MLB – BREAKING! CC Sabathia is reportedly signing a 7-year, $160M deal with the Yankees. I don’t understand why it’s a big deal that this is breaking news. Nobody else was going to pay that much, so it’s not a surprise. And the season still doesn’t start until April. So please pardon my dismissive wanking motion.

Carolina huh? That’s news to me too. Thank God he doesn’t play for the Tar Heels; we’d never hear the end of it.
Am I just to assume that Bob Huggins BAL was over .4 last night?
there was no nba on last night, specifically, my raptors were not in Cleveland last night. I’ll hear no more of your lies.
Best night of the NBA season? Whew! Now I don’t have to watch any of the rest of the season.
A few weeks ago Davidson played Loyola and Stephen Curry was held scoreless. Why you ask? Because Loyola decided to guard Curry with two men, essentially making it a 4 vs 3 matchup the entire game. As soon as Curry figured out that he was going to be double teamed AT ALL TIMES he started to drag his defenders the fuck away from the ball creating a one man advantage for the rest of his team. And yes, they actually held him to 0 points. Did it work? Of course it didn’t fucking work, Loyola got trounced by 30 points because they wouldn’t stop doubling Curry.
