• Darren Rovell of CNBC’s Sports Biz Blog gets the straight scoop from Billy Ripken about how the famous Fleer error card came to be.  Pretty fascinating, for a baseball card story.
• The Pro Cheerleader Blog produces a photo essay of the Chargers Girls in action.  It’s okay, if you like lots of pictures of women with generous cleavage and flat stomachs.  Maybe Wrenna Monet can join the squad — she’s got the right assets.
• Marshawn Lynch announces a contest at his Yardbarker blog: “I plan to make 2 kids very happy dis xmas…you wanna know how??? good imma tell u. I’m havin a ‘I’m ya daddi boi toy give a way.’” (via The Sporting Blog)  He’s the e.e. cummings of NFL running backs.
• Big League Stew announces the free agent signing of Francisco Rodriguez with the New York Mets.  Shouldn’t change much for him.  Rally Monkey is no less annoying than your average fan in Queens.
