12.05.08 COLT MCCOY BEST QB IN THE BIG 12, EXCEPT NOT
Eye contact for attractive groupies only
Yesterday, Texas quarterback Colt McCoy was named the AP’s Big 12 offensive player of the year. The AP also bestowed the conference best offensive player by granting him to second-team All-Big 12 honors. The AP decided that Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford was the best quarterback in the conference, even better than the best offensive player, another quarterback.
Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell was the only other quarterback to get a vote from the 20 voters who decided the AP’s Big 12 all-conference teams. Harrell picked up four votes — one for first team and three for second team. Thus, the race swung on whether Harrell voters picked McCoy or Bradford as their second choice.
Nice explanation. Don’t care. Still gay.
Side note: The best QBs in the Big 12 — McCoy, Bradford, Harrell, and Mizzou’s Chase Daniel — are collectively better than the quarterbacks in the NFC North.

Aaron Rodgers heartily disagrees with your assesment. Tony Cornheiser would also heartily disagree, but cannot muster the strength to remove Brett Favre’s ballsack from his oral cavity.
foam finger metal signs!
Key word is collectively. Rodgers doesn’t make up for Frerotte and Culpepper.
Ponders by staring off into space. Sighs. Nods approvingly. Starts pensively looking at porn. Disapears into bathroom.

No shit. You know who else is: Smello, Why Do You Ask, Upstate Underdog, and Joe Buck.
Probably also better than the crap the SEC puts on the field. Tebow is overrated. I’m just looking forward to seeing how the BCS will manage to the OSU into the BCS title game again. After two straight beatdowns, will OSU realize that the BCS is not their friend.
Wait you mean college football is a mess and has trouble ranking things? Since when NO THE SKY IS FALLING
Remember when someone at Yankee Stadium called you a fag for wearing a Mariners hat, and you didn’t stand up for yourself but made yourself a fresh pair of tinklepants? Now you are hiding behind your nerdy blog calling other people gay? Nice tinklepants.
@Enrico: Detroit called me about their QB job last week. I said no fuckin way and gave ‘em Upstate’s number (212-FAT-DOGG).
@toon – So when I went up to that Yankees fan and asked him what the fuck his problem was, how is that not standing up to him?
Who calls people tinklepants?
“tinklepants” is a word that should never be allowed on this site again.
besides it’s been proven, the sooners are just better than texas. head to head doesn’t matter. the computers still favored my sooners.
and texas last to a proven mediocre home team. who cares if it was on the road. rivalry games are always harder, and if OKState can take the longhorns to the wire in Austin, they don’t deserve it. A team the sooners beat on the road by 20+
my bad for the rant.
but bradford is a better passer, colt is one hell of a runner. isn’t he leading his team in rushing? that’s mind boggling/kind of sad.
