Saint Andrew’s Net is With Leather’s daily link dump.  Enjoy this post, because I’m damn sure not working a full day on the Marines’ birthday when it falls on Veteran’s Day.

  • The Sporting Blog brings you the weekend in college football with The Alphabetical.  Go for the Big Ten bashing, stay for the vocabulary lesson (I never knew what “grawlix” was).
  • Deadspin notes that the high school football players coached by Ashton Kutcher despise him and call him “Ashton Doucher.”  But who doesn’t?
  • Sports by Brooks is amazed by the pilot who, after going blind at 15,000 feet, still managed to land his plane safely.  Perhaps he spent too much time looking at photos of Jessica, who — despite appearances — is not a Marine corporal celebrating the Corps’s 233rd birthday today.
  • FanHaus has video of the Australian boxing match that devolved into a chair-throwing brawl.  Violence at a boxing match?  I don’t think that’s what the fans paid to see.
  • D.C. Sports Bog reports on the latest Gilbert Arenas tattoo: an homage to President-elect Obama.  Arenas had trouble deciding between Obama and RoboCop on a unicorn.

Send tips and submissions for Saint Andrew’s Net to withleather@gmail.com.  But send them tomorrow.  There are a couple more posts coming today, but I’m taking the rest of the day off.
