J.T. O’Sullivan prepares to suck enough to get benched
Here’s what sucked in the NFL yesterday:
- The Giants’ red-zone offense and James Harrison’s long-snapping. [recap]
- Everything about the Bengals. [recap]
- Brett Favre’s holier-than-thou attitude after throwing three interceptions as the Jets had to come back to eke out a win at home against the lowly Chiefs. Eat a dick, Bretty boy. [recap]
- The NFL’s ridiculous rules that kept CBS from showing the end of the Chargers-Saints game live.
- Everything about the 13-9 crapfest between the Bucs and Cowboys.
- The Cardinals’ inability to hold a two-touchdown lead in the second half. [recap]
Bonus suck points for the punter who made a tackle by leaping onto a returner’s back. The ol’ piggyback tackle, favored by younger brothers and grade-schoolers everywhere. Perhaps someone should mention to the Jets that the AFC West is terrible & these last two weeks were supposed to be cake walks.

I would also like to take this opportunity to tell CBS to stop showing the Jets just because of Brett Favre.
With the Bears on a bye, I would have rather seen any other AFC game than Jets-Chiefs yesterday. Every time there is a game on CBS, its the damn Jets because Favre used to play 4 hours north of Chicago.
I’ve seen just about enough of Favre and his ‘late-game-heroics-that-are-only-needed-because-he-sucked-the-other-58-minutes’ performance.
Eagles keep pace with the rest of the East.
I ate 2 breakfast sandwiches, a pound of peeled shrimp, a bowl of Mac and Cheese, and two footlong cheesesteaks while tailgating. Needless to say, I am an American hero.
Conversely, Mike Singletary is THE BALLS!!! Welcome home, Mike.

Yea, I knew I shouldn’t get my hopes up. There was an interesting stat that CBS showed during the game – West Coast teams playing on the East Coast for morning games are 0-8.
Not an excuse though.
Is Favre wearing a Packers jersey under his Jets jersey?
Jerome Booger and his crew suck for totally blowing the “muffed” punt call that lead to the Eagles last TD.
I know it was mentioned ad nauseum before the weekend but I think Roger Goodell should win hands down for the lack of a Sunday Night game.
