10.14.08 BENGALS FANS ARE CASHING OUT
Cincinnati had hopes of a return to their form of 2005, when they won the AFC North. We did, seriously. But after the release of three starters on August 30th, one freaking week before the season started, and some anemic offensive line play leading to a dead last ranking in total offense, Cincinnati is one of two winless teams after six weeks of play. And the fans are getting out of Dodge. From the guys at Game On:
Dustin Dow of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that although all Bengals home games are officially sold out this season that more than 3,000 tickets are available online at StubHub.com for Sunday’s home game against Pittsburgh.
For the Nov. 2 game against Jacksonville, the availability tops 4,000, and escalates to more than 5,000 for each of the games against Baltimore, Washington and Kansas City.
This is why I’m telling Carson Palmer to sit out the rest of the year, and fans would be wise to do the same. Unless they’re looking to score some rabid Northern Kentucky ass at the tailgate. You don’t need elbow tendons, cash, or even front teeth to score with those broads. Just make sure you’re up to date on your tetnus shots. Hillbilly ‘tang has a tendency to rust.

It’s all gone downhill for Cincinnati since the release of that Bob Huggins DUI footage.
