09.04.08 SOME GUY BEAT LEBRON
Apparently now that he’s won a gold medal, Bron-Bron is going back to shooting like he did in the Eastern Conference Finals. 26-year-old baldie and former high school basketballer David Kalb won a game of H-O-R-S-E in “LeBron’s Trick Shot Sweepstakes” against the event’s eponymous personality void at Venice Beach.
Nice to see LeBron go down, even if it was against a mighty douche.
Kalb said his favorite shot came when the two were clowning around after the competition.
“I play a lot of H-O-R-S-E with my friends and I always do this one where I toss the ball in the air, do a backflip, catch it on the bounce and dunk it,” the 6-foot-1 Kalb said. “But I couldn’t get my toss down, so LeBron said, ‘You throw it to me and I’ll dunk it.’”
“Oh yeah, I just beat LeBron James, but you didn’t get a chance to see what I can really do. There’s this one where I ride a griffin to the top of the backboard then dive through the hoop with the ball without moving any of the net. Sucks you missed that. I do it for my friends all the time!”
