PENNSYLVANIA IS TORN ASUNDER!
09.17.08
The Keystone State sports drama is gearing up again. When last they met (of course, excluding Pirates-Phillies games, which are too sad to get worked up about) Penguins fans were busying defacing the Rocky statue during their playoff series win over the Flyers. Now, with the Steelers and Eagles preparing to meet this Sunday at the Linc, Steelers fans are organizing a rally called Steeladelphia on Saturday in downtown Philly. Let’s hope plastic steelworker helmets can deflect batteries.
They even have a special guest lined up: former linebacker Levon Kirkland, who made his name playing for the Steelers, but, as they fail to mention, also later played for the Eagles. Whoops!
Naturally, the teams share a curious history as they briefly combined to form one squad during World War II. It’s always difficult for separated twins. Especially when one of them eats scrapple.

This country hasn’t experienced such a mass migration of jobless rubes since the Dust Bowl…or any given graduation day at Florida State.
note: whiz wit doesn’t include cole slaw and french fries.
Steel City Mafia & Steel City Crusade present Steeladelphia? Are they hosting this in the Gayborhood?
If one of them eats scrapple, then the other eats a bucket of fish heads a la Hugo Simpson.
It’s Brother vs. Brother in the city of Brotherly Love!
Until they reform their antiquated Puritannical liquor laws, Pennsylvania will always be a communist state to me.
Ahh scrapple, part apple part….ummm
I can’t wait to go to the game on Sunday and punch a Steelers fan in the side of the head while he isn’t looking.
This is like two turds in a port-a-potty arguing about which one is better.
