The bike crashes we typically feature on this site are those generally borne out of stupidity and foolishness. This one, however… is no different. Is it his fault his bike snapped in twain? On its face, you might suppose not. But what if he wasn't maintaining the bike properly. Or had put on extra weight before the race. Or, you know, accepted the risks inherent in BMX racing. Yes, I'm quick to cast aspersion, especially for someone who snapped a hooker in half last time. Just don't make 'em like they used'a. Time was they used actual materials like bones and soft tissue, now you're lucky if they're not composed entirely of AIDS and Super AIDS.
