Everybody already knows the Beijing Olympics are fated to descend into an ungodly amalgam of mass killings, police brutality and gymnastics, but the country is getting a quick start on the international ill-will as many bar owners in one of the city's main nightlife areas are banning blacks and Mongolians. Goddamn Mongorrian!  

Bar owners near the Workers' Stadium in central Beijing say they have been forced by Public Security Bureau officials to sign pledges agreeing not to let black people enter their premises.

"Uniformed Public Security Bureau officers came into the bar recently and told me not to serve black people or Mongolians," said the co-owner of a western-style bar, who asked not to be named.

One might say this flies in the face of the "One World, One Dream" theme of this Olympics, but if there's anything that has been a common thread throughout history, it's fear and contempt of black people by non-blacks. Thanks for reminding us we don't really live in a post-racial age, China. Oh, and sparing black people from being in a crowded nightlife district when military police inevitably start mowing people down in the streets.
