NASCAR driver Scott Speed, who drives every race with young Spritle and Chim-Chim concealed in his trunk, credits his recent success to having his toenails painted blue. That and his recent increase in butt sex. 

Speed won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race Friday at Dover (Del.) International Speedway in only his sixth series start — after he had the tips of his toenails painted blue.

"That's going to become a tradition," Speed, 25, said of his pedicure after winning in a Red Bull Toyota.

Well, of course, he's just in keeping with the epilepsy-inducing hyperprismatic quality of the Speed Racer movie. That or he is only catering to his friends in the foot fetish community. Hey, they do count Quentin Tarantino among them. That just means more Speed Racer movies, now with constant blaxsploitation references and narrative devices ripped directly from Hong Kong films. in other words, much better.
