06.05.08 CELTICS-LAKERS GAME 1 TONIGHT
Since I had my days of the week mixed up and ran the NBA Finals preview a day early, I'll merely acknowledge once again that Game 1 is tonight, with coverage starting at 8:30 Eastern on ABC. The commentators tonight are two or three guys who will be muted while I listen to music and drink beer.
Feel free to use the comments to this post as a sounding board should you need to vent about the officiating, the coaches, the players, the douchebags in the stands, commercials, or the Swiss. Stupid Swiss. STOP BEING SO NEUTRAL.

Isn't it great, living in California, where the game will be over around 9 and leave plenty of time for post-game cocktails? (This is just a regional site, right? Also, Lakers by, let's say, 9)

@Merk: Head on over. It's currently about 75 and sunny, and I got cold beer in the fridge, so no need for a toque. One downside to CA…I'm still at work.

word to WDYA. games end early enough to go out afterwards and football games start when you wake up. that could all change when we break apart and float away but who thinks ahead?
I'd like to join the West Coast Circle Jerk.
Another downside (other than me also being at work) is that I didn't get home from work last night until the 3rd period of the hockey game. It was sprinkling in San Diego, so of course, everyone forgets how to drive and it took me goddamn hour and a half to get home.
