Continuing the theme of Chester day at WL comes the tale of Lawrence Michael “Poppy” Vincent, a 74-year-old now former part-time track coach at a high school outside San Antonio who exposed himself to an undercover officer in the woods.


The report states Vincent was spotted near his car in a wooded area of McAllister Park holding a bible. He reportedly made conversation with an undercover officer before trying to rub against him.

Vincent was arrested just before 4 p.m., after pulling down his pants and revealing a pair of floral panties. The encounter escalated when Vincent exposed himself.

That's right. Everything was just fine and dandy with the old guy sitting there praying in his floral skivvies. That's plenty godly. What's the next step after praying with someone in the woods holding a bible? You get to know that person biblically, that's what. Vincent was just playing by the rules. It's not his fault your secular laws don't recognize that.
