South African Trevor Immelman won the Masters by 3 strokes today despite tying the highest final round score ever for winner. Exciting stuff. You can look at pictures of Trevor putting on his green jacket here, or you can analyze the Immelmann Turn - expertly displayed by the Messerschmitt Bf 109 above. Did you know the Immelmann Turn was invented by World War I German flying ace Max Immelmann? And did you also know that more Messerschmitt Bf 109's were produced during World War II than any other fighter aircraft? I learned all this and more from the History Channel's Dogfights. I didn't watch the Masters, but watching digital graphics of ancient aerial combat was way more exciting. -KD
