It\’s still <i>Detroit</i>.” class=”alignright size-full wp-image-41″ /><p>Baseball's winter meetings are going on, and as a sportswriter I can attest that NOTHING is as fun to write about as meetings.  Ooh, general managers talking to each other!  Something might happen!</p><p>For once, something actually did happen, as the Marlins traded Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis — the last two cogs from their 2003 World Series team — to the Tigers in exchange for Detroit's farm system.  The Tigers now have a lineup that can be described as the good kind of "sick," and their #5 starter could probably be a #2 on several teams.  The rest of the American League has been terrified into making <a href=grammar mistakes.

"I'll tell you what," said Red Sox manager Terry Francona. "There are a lot of American League pitchers getting real nervous — and we're one of them."
