Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today not to mourn the loss of the Yankees' postseason, but to celebrate it. More specifically, I'm here to dance on their grave. Let's face it, the Indians deserved to win — not that the TBS announcers gave any hint that that was the case. Ooh, I'm so shocked that the Wild Card team down 2-0 couldn't win three straight against the team with better pitching, better defense, and the second-best record in baseball! Can you believe it?
That makes three straight ALDS exits for the Bronx Bombers, and it looks like Joe Torre will be clearing out his locker, likely to be replaced by super-manager Joe Girardi. Despite his MVP season that carried the Yanks into the playoffs, Alex Rodriguez's non-clutch solo shot last night may not be enough to keep him in NYC. Looks like we're going to need to stock up on sad face emoticons for all those poor Yankees fans :(
Nah just kidding. I'd rather drink paint thinner than watch another Red Sox-Yankees ALCS.

Matt, I will celebrate with you.
This fucking sucks!!!!! Where is a Boston Fan when you need one??? I guess I will have to just go kick a dog around I guess or something….
Indians clutch, Yankees not clutch. Not to mention Carmona being nasty on Friday. This Yankee fan is disappointed, but the better team won. Also, a bitter Bills fan today.
@doogie, yes this does sucks, but being a Yankee fan is still better than being a Mets fan.
Why does everyone say that the Indians had a better defense? Statistically, the Yankees were a better fielding team.
@UU, much better than being a Mets fan
UU: You are right there! I am a Giants fan, at least I have that for a few more weeks, than that will go to shit….I need to start following womens nude soccer. Does NY have a womens nude soccer team? Anyone…Anyone….Fuck it!
homosexual_rod: PLAY TYME FOR ARAH!!!
=D 0-:
I was trying to create a new emoticon for Yankees fans that says, "your team blows".
As an Indians fan all I can say is every Yankees loss is a win and its doubly sweet when the Indians eliminate those @*)(@#*$)#*$ bastards from the postseason. I have nothing snarky to say, I am too happy.
Although the Bills "win" certainly brings me down to earth a bit.
If Cleveland can knock off both of baseball's most annoying fan bases in the same season, I'll take back everything bad I ever said about "Major League II."
I liked the part where the Yankees lost.
Amen, Hugh. If they can pull off that double play, I may actually watch the series this year. Go Tribe!
I would have gone with "Tears of a Clown" for this post.
Cleveland Rocks! Somewhere right now, Drew, Lewis and Oswald are passed out drunk while I'm spanking it to pictures of Kate.
(:-0 =3
After a woeful performance, Alex Rodriguez drowned his sorrows with a mouthful of penis.
I prefer Part 3 with Quantum Leap and Jefferson Darcy.
That little ginger could have probably lasted longer than Ming-Wang last night. Ah, who am I kidding? Me at 14 with a bottle of Jergens and a copy of "Backdoor Wives" lasted longer than Ming-Wang.
Heh. I said Wang.
Met fans…yankee fans…they are all ass clowns. Good-bye and good riddance NY.
And good luck with that giants, jets juggernaut too!
Nice reference, Kennedy. Kate was always a hottie. I miss that show!
I hope Joe Torre just walks away. 10 division titles, 4 championships, and the senile owner is threatening his job before every elimination game? Why put up with it? Yesterday could have been a beautiful, beautiful night if the fucking Bills had held on. Cowboys and Yankees both lose? Priceless.
It'a sad day for this Yankees fan. But I'll pick myself up. I'm going to get dressed in my sweatpants and Vick jersey and make a difference in the world today.
The moral of the story? Guys, you have to give your Wang 4 days rest before playing with it again.
Wait a second… Cleveland WON???
How did that happen- listening to the TBS broadcast, I thought the Yankees were out there all alone.
"And HERE COME THE YANKEES!!!!" After a solo home run trims the Indian lead to a mere FOUR FREAKIN RUNS.
And you know what's worse? After one game of Fox's McCarver and Buck, we'll look back on the TBS broadcasts as the good ol' days.
This just breaks my freakin' heart. Long live Rick "Wildthing" Vaughn!
What a beautiful day! No more listening to that asswipe John Sterling and his "An A-bomb for A-Rod" call. Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankees lose!
Seriously though, someone better check on the Suzyn Waldman broad. I think I saw her headed for the GW bridge after the game.
Hey little kids, your favorite team sucks.
Go Tribe!
Iscwxman- check out [awfulannouncing.blogspot.com] Waldman choking back tears and Sterling talking her off the ledge.
So much to mock. So much to loathe.
@ypai I have tears streaming down my face after listening to that too. Tears of laughter that is.
I hate the Yankees, it was a sweet victory last night. fitting i watched the tribe beat the crap out of the yankees with my father in law who at every swing of the yankees bat got just a little closer to jumping off a ledge. before the Diamondbacks were here I followed the Tribe since they spring trained here. but Last nights ass kicking of the yankees was almost as good as D-backs beating the Padres so fat ass tony gwen could shut the hell up. I am hoping for a D-backs-Indians Series.
It was the best victory ever. watching my father in law drop his head as he rooted for the yankees and then they lost to my beloved Tribe was the sweetess of victories. "by the way I just banged your daughter before we got here, I hope that eases the pain."
It was a great victory last night. watching my father in law drop his head in shame as he rooted for the yankees, then only to lose to my beloved Tribe. it was the sweetess victory. the only why to rub it in anymore was to tell him that his daughter serviced me right before we left the house.
I just love the crowd shots of sad Yankees fans after an ALDS series loss. From the 12-year-olds with gloves to the doughy suits in the box seats to the crazy old ladies, cry on Evil Empire. Cry on.

Arod likes making emoticons of him sucking a cock almost as much as he likes beating off while watching Entourage.
Once again I love how Sportscenter portrays the Indians as the underdogs. Since when were they underdogs? I also love how they can do nothing but talk about "who blew the series for the Yankees"? Uhhh hello 3 other teams lost as well and I didn't hear one thing about how they blew the series.
