Behind a 10 strikeout performance from Daisuke Matsuzaka, the Red Sox defeated the Mariners 4-3 last night in Seattle.  I like when Dice-K wins, don't you?  Looking at pictures of the lovely Yoko for the last hour has really taken the edge of my Sunday morning hangover.

The Chief has issued a standing order not to write too much with these Dice-K posts, as the WL Science Dept. has discovered the text hurts your eyes and confuses your blood-deprived brains.  However, other stuff in baseball happened, such as A-Rod finally hit his 500th homer.  Cameras caught him mouthing the words "I'm glad it's over" in the dugout following his trot.  At least that's what the Yankee commentators thought, it looked to me like he said "men glood (?) lovers".  Oh yeah, some guy also hit a home run in San Diego. -KD
