What to watch for in this weekend's biggest match-ups, with a special nod to the return of interleague play in MLB. Home team in ALL CAPS. All times Eastern.

White Sox over CUBS –  Pretty much anyone over the Cubs, actually.

DEVIL RAYS over Marlins — Are there two more rabid fan bases in all of baseball?  Well, yes.  But that was supposed to be hypothetical.

METS over Yankees — The Yanks have had enough trouble keeping pitchers healthy, and now they have to bat?  Better put the medical staff on red alert.

NATIONALS over Orioles — Why not?  The Nats have looked almost plucky lately.

Padres over MARINERS — It's been ten years since interleague play began, and the pressure cookers of Seattle and San Diego still don't hate each other any less.

RED SOX over Braves — A friendly reminder (right) that Dice-K pitches this weekend.

Dodgers over ANGELS — I prefer Los Angeles of Los Angeles to the Anaheim version.

There's also quite a bit at stake tonight and possibly Sunday afternoon as the Suns-Spurs series comes to a close. I'm sticking with my prior declaration that if the Spurs win the series, With Leather will boycott all coverage of the NBA Playoffs.  I haven't done the math yet, but it will probably cripple the NBA financially if that happens.  Be sure to check in with Kevin this weekend to see what else is going on.
