Man, if it weren't for The Offside, I might go a day without remembering that European soccer fans are absolutely fucking ridiculous. This is from the FA Cup final between Chelsea and Manchester United, and poor Pedro Pinto of British CNN gets beers dumped on him and mauled by Man U fans. And I can speak from experience, getting a beer dumped on your head sucks. Hey, don't get mad at me 'cause I said you look like a tramp. You're the one who bought the Hoochie 2000 costume.

A valid point, but at least the fans were playful. The reporter should think himself lucky that he wasn’t stabbed, pissed on or doused in petrol.
Yes, because this is what ALL european soccer fans are like. Because Europe is one big country without any cultural differences. And in Europe all the fans comes from the same places and have the same stupid things they do when they're drunk. They just cheer for the same two teams and hate all americans. Yes, they do. Or should I say we?
I don't care about Man U or Chelsea. In fact: I hate both teams. Yes, the teams. The fans of the teams, however, aren't any worse than those indifferent americans that roll over the "country" of Europe each year – bragging, shouting and becoming senseationally drunk because they can't handle the beer.
Oh, yeah: That's the impressions I've got from americans. But I don't think everybody is like this.
My point is that it is stupid to build facts about a group of fans, a country or a continent on 10 people you've seen doing stupid things. But I guess that's what you do here on this site.
