It's been a video-heavy afternoon, but I couldn't pass up the chance to share this video of Boca Junior’s Rodrigo Palacio getting kicked in the face. Even though it was clearly an accident, the goalkeeper, Velez Sarsfield's Gaston Sessa, was given a red card, proving that Argentine soccer referees are racially predisposed to call more fouls on Hispanic players.
NOTE: Sarsfield? Yikes, definitely not moving there.

The slo-mo shows the player running into the kicker’s cleats.
Clearly.
Unless he was posing for a shoe logo, that was intentional.
Mirko Cro Cop just winced.
Yes. Clearly an accident. Just like it was clearly an accident that I logged on to assparade.com last night, and it was an accident that I beat my meat like it stole something.
Sessa has a history of “accidents” like this and other incidents on the soccer field, including a recent one where he kicked a ball right into the face of a ball-boy because he was taking too long to get him a ball (video: [www.youtube.com]). Even Velez fans are calling for him to quit after the Palacio kick. Accident my ass…
Dude, he timed that PERFECTLY!
Yeah that’s the way I normally jump for the ball–kicking out one leg towards someone coming at me, like I’m Jean-Claude Van Damme.
