02.26.07 THE ‘86 REDSKINS COULD SING, DANCE, RAP
D.C. Sports Bog found this tasty nugat of a two decades-old video that found its way onto YouTube. Apparently the 1986 Redskins wanted to thank their fans for being so great, and the only way to do it effectively was through the majesty of song.
There's too much goodness to give it an appropriate introduction, but if you love tight jeans, football players rapping, Motown dance moves, and handicapped fans, this might just be the video for you.

Matt Millen has rhythm.
So we can now heap this new nugget to the pile of 80’s era music videos that different teams made. I wonder why no other decade was quite so prolific in that arena.
Then I realize that is must be the synthesizer. That electronic box of wonders.
That and all the cocaine everyone was consuming.
notice former MD Lt. Governor Michael Steele 22 seconds in (the black guy with mustache and glasses) some 16 years before he took office… it… will… fascinate you…
I think I saw this video already, but with better players and better music. Oh wait, that was the Superbowl Shuffle.
The ‘87 Flames’ “Red Hot” video is vastly superior…the first minute will make you think you’re hallucinating. Fake trombone playing and mustaches…oh, the mustaches…
