02.23.07 DOMINIC RHODES PISSED HIS PANTS
Oh boy oh boy oh boy. I was quick to report on Dominic Rhodes's DWI arrest earlier this week, but Dominic Rhodes's DWI arrest earlier this week, but the follow-up is even better:
After failing two field-sobriety tests, Rhodes told [State Trooper Ahmad] Hafez he had consumed two or three alcoholic drinks. While sitting in the police car's front seat, Rhodes urinated on himself, the report said.
Now, some people would probably think that I'd take this opportunity to laugh at Rhodes and kick a guy while he's down, and those people are absolutely correct. The cruel glee I had when I read this news was almost enough to chase away my hangover (hey, I had to celebrate not having the flu any more).
But here's the thing: Rhodes only blew a .09, and any drunk worth his salt knows that that's not even a good buzz. You're not even approaching pants-pissing drunk until at least .20. Which means… he pissed his pants because he was scared?
Oh, that's rich. Good luck on the free agent market, Dom.

Would you guys stop jumping to conclusions. Sheesh. No one - NO ONE has even’t suggested yet that this was a whole big setup. I mean, I guess the jellyfish crawling up his thigh just got in the cop’s car “by accident”.

I tell you this. If I was getting arrested and the cop was even a little bit of a dick to me. I’d piss myself while sitting in his car cause dude’s got to ride around all night in a car that smells like piss.
Good thinkin, marc. It would totally be worth the added charge for urinating in public.
I wonder if Jim Rome is going to metaphorically suck Rhode’s cock after this incident on the radio.
