Uh oh… here comes the "Police Blotter" tag again. Colts running back Dominic Rhodes celebrated President's Day a little too hard and got arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated:

Indiana State Police arrested Rhodes in a silver GMC at 3:02 this morning on northbound I-65 near 71st Street… Police said Rhodes was driving 81 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Marion County court records show Rhodes was arrested on initial charges of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Last week, in an attempt to keep the free agent Rhodes from leaving the Colts, Peyton Manning joked that Rhodes wasn't "starter" material. Poppycock. Anyone brazen enough to drive 26 miles over the speed limit after drinking (hello, rule of thumb is 3-5 mph over) has a need for speed and the guts/lack of intelligence to take a blitzing linebacker head-on.

Of course, Rhodes's stock just went through the roof with America's Most Wanted NFL franchises. The Bengals and Chargers have already entered a bidding war. To post his bail.
