I know the Chargers are out of the playoffs, and the hubbub over the LaDainian Tomlinson "not classy" comments is dying down, but I enjoyed this.
This San Diego news telecast had its camera in the middle of the Patriots-Chargers post-game confrontation, and you get to hear big-game veteran QB Philip Rivers tee off on Ellis Hobbs for being the "sorriest corner in the league."
In the end, though, the clip is kind of disappointing. The male anchor doesn't even threaten to punch the female anchor in the baby-maker.

“… what message are we sending our kids?”
LT = Helen Lovejoy
Rivers sounded like he was about to cry.
Having played QB in high school that’s just his voice after screaming out plays and snap counts all game. Especially over a loud pro crowd.
If she did get punched in the baby-maker there’s a Dr. in NY who will attempt a womb transplant (for those of you who were reading the crawl in the broadcast)
Oh my God. Is the entire city of San Diego populated by giant walking vaginas? How come Shawne Merriman doesn’t have to act like he’s been there before after he sacks a guy? He does that queer dance every single time. The hypocrisy is stunning. GO PATS!
actually jon, the city’s name really means “whale vagina”, so in a sense, yes it is a city populated by giant, walking vaginas. all of whom may or may not be in a glass cage of emotion
Let’s look beyond the fact that no announcer had a bad thing to say about the celebration at the time, or that the Chargers creamed themselves like a 13 year old boy on a bumpy bus ride when they scored in the 4th with 8 min left. No. Let’s get past that onto this crucial fact: I have a home on whore island.
I would say that Tomlinson had a point, but I did Ray Lewis’ spastic dance after Mathis stripped McNair, so I guess I cede the moral highground.
Someone needs a bottle and a nap.
Act like you’ve lost before, San Diego. Come on, it’s not like you were 14-2 every year prior to this one.
