01.31.07 ADRIAN WILSON IS GOOD AT JUMPING
The savviest of webgoers have probably already seen this, and to those people I say: you should really get out more.
Anyway, this is new to me, and I'm willing to post anything to take my mind off the Super Bowl for 18 seconds. It's the Arizona Cardinals' Adrian Wilson showing off his 66" vertical. Yes, that's five and a half feet.
No word on if this actually helped the Cardinals win a game this year, but… probably not.

After meeting him in person this year, I can say that I’m not that surprised he can do that. The guy’s forearms are bigger than most people’s thighs. And he’s a super nice guy who finally received recognition for his play this year.
Jesus Buttfucking Christ…Now let’s see him dunk.

Tony Dungy would not approve of that comment. This link is from a KSK poster. I would suggest headphones.

Technically, that’s not a 66 inch vertical. When measuring a vertical, you measure how high you actually jump - not how high you jump plus how much you bring your legs up. If that makes sense.
Still, impressive as fuck.
Most high jumpers jump much higher than their own height, that’s why you don’t measure verticle jumps that way, you measure it highest point touched by the guy’s fingertip minus the distance between the ground and his fingertip when standing flatfooted.
Definately not a 60″ vert…. if vert were measured this way, I would have a 53″ vert (I’m white, so there’s pretty much no chance that would be possible). In reality, I have a 27″ vert.
Not bad though…. it’s rumored that Kadour Ziani of Slam Nation had a legit running vert of 60″, though I’m pretty sure it’s closer to 55″ or 56″.
