The catfight between the Dolphins' Jason Taylor and the Chargers' Shawne Merriman is reaching fabulous new heights. Taylor, who claimed that Merriman's steroid suspension earlier this year should preclude him from consideration for Defensive Player of the Year, is likely the non-steroid-using favorite for the award. And now Merriman has fired back:
"I sent him a 'Lights Out' hat and a 'Lights Out' T-shirt and a bag of popcorn, so he can watch us in the playoffs."
Ooh, burrrrrrrrrrrrnnnn.
Merriman then added, "I also sent him four cycles of nandralone so maybe he can play at my level." Merriman finished his press conference by nailing Zach Thomas's sister.

There are still so many reasons to love Shawne Merriman
Jason Taylor has to be the NFL’s whiniest player–and not in the “locker room cancer/T.O.” sort of way. More in the “he’s a sniveling bitch” sort of way. His “sacks-to-PMS moments” ratio is positively mind-boggling.
I actually popped a half-chubby when my Jets beat him on Christmas; of course, that didn’t compare to the full-blown orgasm I enjoyed in the wake of the Miracle at the Meadowlands a few years ago, when he was actually CRYING on the sidelines. Goooood stuff.
Anyway, I’m sure everyone over at the country club will be very impressed with his defensive POY trophy. Enjoy the offseason, douchenozzle!

Three letters PED! It doesn’t matter how good his stats are! He took advantage of the system. Maybe others do, but they havent been caught yet, and when they do get caught they should be treated the same way no matter who they are, waht team they play for or what numbers they put up. For mine, a bloke that can put close to the the same numbers, a bit less but also some great numbers in other cats. (def. int. rec. J.
