The big to-watch event in sports tonight is No. 3 West Virginia at No. 5 Louisville (7:30, ESPN), as hard-to-tackle Pat White and Steve Slaton visit Kentucky in a battle of unbeatens that signifies the rebirth of the much-maligned Big East.
I have to admit, I'll be pulling for the Cardinals, as I prefer Maker's Mark to burning couches — but just barely. Plus I used to live at Fort Knox, which is close to Louisville but located in a dry county. So there are some pretty bittersweet memories there.
However, if the game turns into a blowout, don't overlook tonight's episode of "Ugly Betty." I saw on "eXtra" last night that Salma Hayek is going to guest-star, and she takes her shirt off in the elevator. Giggety-pow! That ten seconds of hot Latina spilling out of a bra will be just as good as any three hours of college football.

Now we’re moist in Hardin County. Which means you can drink at O’Charley’s, Rafferty’s, the golf course, and an assortment of Mexican restaurants…so we got that going for us.
